Catherine was born in North Yorkshire and began painting at an early age. Her love of watercolour developed rapidly and, after a successful career in stained glass design, she made the decision to paint professionally.
Anne Fryers was born in Wakefield in 1947 and grew up in the Lake District. She studied at Manchester College of Art and Design from 1965 to 1970, graduated in 1969 with Dip. A.D. (Textile Design) and gained the Certificate in Education in 1970.
Jack was born in Farsley near Leeds in 1927 and has been painting since early childhood. He gained his love of the sea during service in the Royal Navy and that fired the creative urge within him.
Janet Bailey was born in Dewsbury in 1950. Having always had an interest in art, though with no formal training, she started painting professionally in the mid 1990’s.
Claire is a professional artist and paints in oil. Her lovable characters, George and Daphne, made their debut in 2013 when Claire began painting for Whitby Galleries. This set of small prints depict the pair on some of their many travels.
Claire Louise is an artist and designer from Durham. Claire works with mixed mediums of watercolours, fabrics and machine embroidery
